Wiesław Galus received his PhD from the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. While working at the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion, he specialised in detection theory and the study of laser-radiation detectors. For the past twenty years, he has pursued research on the theory of mind as an independent scholar. Together with Professor Janusz Starzyk, a distinguished researcher in machine learning, he has published two books on this subject. He is also the author of numerous articles presenting a new theory of mind aimed at explaining phenomenal consciousness
