Tianqi Huang is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on human spatial cognition and machine spatial cognition, integrating light-field 3D displays, augmented reality, and surgical robotics to study spatial perception, representation, interaction, and intelligent decision-making in medical scenarios. His work spans medical 3D visualization, augmented reality-guided intervention, and intelligent surgical robotics, with a particular interest in how advanced 3D technologies can enhance human spatial understanding and how intelligent systems can perceive, model, and act within complex three-dimensional environments.
