Tithi Dutta

Dr. Tithi Dutta has recently earned her PhD in Genetics from the University of Calcutta and is seeking a post-doctoral scholarship opportunity to advance her investigative training to better explore the molecular and epigenetic aspects of complex genetic disorders. Her thesis expanded the mutational spectrum of known and novel OCA genes, aiding in diagnosis, familial screening, and disease management. As a Project Research Scientist-I, she led a Phase I observational clinical trial evaluating citrate-functionalized manganese oxide nanoparticles in neonates ≥35 weeks of gestation at risk of acute bilirubin encephalopathy. Currently, she is a Research Associate-II at the Human Genetics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, contributing to research on psoriasis genetics through genomic analyses, while also supporting student mentorship and collaborative grant applications.
