Deni Mazrekaj is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Utrecht University and an affiliated researcher at the University of Oxford and KU Leuven. He completed his Ph.D. in economics in 2019 at KU Leuven after which he was a postdoctoral researcher in sociology and social demography at the University of Oxford. In his spare time, he is an Associate Editor of PLoS One and Humanities & Social Sciences Communications, and on the Editorial Board of Sociology. Deni has won several awards from the American Sociological Association and the European Academy of Sociology for his research on same-sex parents.
