Bhavana Raju Dhawad earned her Master of Fishery Science (M.F.Sc.) from the prestigious ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai. Her academic and research expertise lies in the conservation and protection of aquatic environments, with a specialized focus on aquatic ecosystem health, ecotoxicity, and bioremediation. She has published research papers in national and international journals, alongside various popular science articles. In 2023, she successfully cleared the ASRB National Eligibility Test (NET), a testament to her proficiency and dedication within the discipline of Fisheries Science. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Department of Aquatic Environment Management at the College of Fishery Science, Morshi, under the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur.
