Yangyishi Zhang is a Physical Layer Innovation Research Specialist with the Department of Applied Research, British Telecommunications (BT). He has been an Industrial Advisory Board Member with the University of Nottingham since 2024, and a Review Editor with Springer Nature since 2026. His research interest lies in the modelling, design, and standardisation of smart wireless environments and telecom networks. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Fellow.
