Benedetta Sestito is a PhD candidate in the Water and Climate Risk group (WCR) at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her background is in physics (BSc) and physics of the Earth system (MSc). Her research interests concern climate extremes and their impacts on society. During her PhD, she is studying vulnerability dynamics to climate change-driven hazards across Europe.
