Dr. Ayoub Guemouria holds a PhD in civil engineering, water management and environmental modeling from the International Water Research Institute (IWRI) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). He is a hydrogeological engineer, graduated from the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI), with trainings in economics and law. His research focuses on water resources management, climate change governance, agriculture, food security and sustainable development economics. At IWRI, he applies system dynamics, complex systems analysis and optimization modeling to coupled human-natural systems, supporting evidence-based public policy and governance. He is an active member of national and international scientific and policy-oriented institutions (MC-IAH, CEISMF, CDRT).
