He completed his bachelor's degree in life sciences at Berhampur University, followed by a master's degree in biotechnology at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. During his master’s studies, he worked under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, focusing on the structural characterization of human islet amyloid polypeptide (hIAPP) and the mechanism of hIAPP-induced membrane disruption using both solution and solid-state NMR techniques. He then joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Marc Baldus at Utrecht University in the Netherlands to pursue his PhD in solid-state NMR.
