Dr. Nivin Abdelmeguid is an Assistant Professor and climate change and energy expert with experience in research, publishing, and international climate policy. Her work focuses on energy system transitions, climate mitigation and adaptation, transparency frameworks, and evidence-based policy support. She serves as Associate Editor at Springer Nature and as Expert Reviewer for the IPCC AR7 Working Group II and the Special Report on Cities (SRCities). A National Transparency Expert under the 1BTR process, she also edits books, authors publications, and consults for governments and research institutions, bridging science, policy, and sustainable energy solutions.
