Dr. Biswajit Bera graduated with a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by a B.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Calcutta. Next, he completed the integrated MTech-PhD program from CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata with a specilization in Membrane development for CO2 separation from mixture gases. He worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the department of Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Sirshendu De and focused on research pertaining to water treatment. He is currently employed as a Researcher at the Environment Group R&D for Tata Steel Limited.
