Chin Sze Piaw

Prof. Dr. Chin Sze Piaw is a physician-scientist and co-founder of Cytopeutics Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s leading cell therapy biotechnology company. He is an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and faculty in the Regenerative Medicine program at Universiti Malaya. His research focuses on stem cell-based therapies for metabolic, cardiovascular, neurological, and inflammatory diseases, advancing these innovations through landmark clinical trials. His pioneering work has earned recognition including the International Society for Cell Therapy (ISCT) Global Trailblazer Award (2024) for advancing cell and gene therapy, promoting innovation, and advocating for acceptance of allogeneic cell therapy among Muslim patients.
